CREATIVE DIRECTION

WORLD OUTREACH CHURCH

In April of 2021 I was brought onto the team at World Outreach Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma as their Creative & Communications Manager. At the time the task at hand was to hire and build a team of creatives to showcase and present the life of the church through fresh and vibrant content. Alongside hiring the creative team, I orchestrated and provided creative vision for all weekly tasks ranging from content creation to all production aspects involving both online and in-person services and events. Our work resulted in a consistent boost of online engagement including more followers on all platforms and an increase of online viewers and in-person visitors each week.

EVENTS

A CONFERENCE LIKE NO OTHER.

Before my arrival, the church was planning on having their annual August conference. In previous years it had always been a huge conference done in a similar “global” theme celebrating all the nations across the world. In 2021, the church wanted to do something completely NEW. The only thing they knew for certain at the time was the title of the conference “REVIVE CON21.” The rest was a completely blank slate with exactly three months left to plan and execute every detail. I worked on and oversaw all creative aspects from the initial concept/design of the logo, to promotional materials, lobby and stage design, video content, registration website, and merchandise. It resulted in being reviewed by all in attendance as their best conference to date.

MERCHANDISE

In years prior, World Outreach Church had offered and sold merchandise but were always left with a lot of extra unsold stock after each event. Due to this, they were a little hesitant to restock or try again with new items. Knowing this, I designed and pitched new merchandise for their upcoming conference but with a social media and in-service campaign to pair with the launch. I also gave a guarantee that they would sell out the stock if ordered/sold.

After officially launching the campaign, their first limited supply order was SOLD OUT IN ONE DAY before the conference had even began and they had to do a restock of all items, which also sold out throughout the actual event.

SOCIAL MEDIA

I was in charge of overseeing all social media content, giving creative direction and approval for all that was created and posted.

These pages included Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (@woctulsa).

WEBSITES

I designed and created the Revive Con 21 website that was used for information and registration. I also maintained and updated the pages of the World Outreach Church’s official website.
